From meeting place to Tech company
Detailed History
Before Cybear-Tech officially became a registered tech company in Switzerland, it had humble beginnings back in 2017. Initially conceived as a virtual meeting place within a forum called “Ingenuity,” hosted on various tech forums and small event gatherings, our mission was clear: to foster collaboration among tech enthusiasts worldwide, with a focus on sharing best practices in Cloud migration and Cybersecurity.
As the years went by, our community grew and evolved, gaining recognition among tech students, freelancers, and seasoned veterans alike, especially during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic. Embracing a more inclusive approach, we opened our doors to all types of tech enthusiasts and project supporters, further solidifying our commitment to innovation and knowledge-sharing.
The pivotal moment came during an event in Singapore, where students, freelancers, and tech startups converged to showcase their groundbreaking discoveries in tech project development for major companies. Cybear-Tech, a play on ‘cyber,’ embodies our commitment to cybersecurity. Just as a bear navigates the woods alone, symbolizing strength and deterrence in an interconnected environment, we provide robust solutions for companies navigating the digital wilderness.
During this event, a team comprising seasoned professionals and tech students, operating under the Cybear-Tech banner, caught the attention of industry leaders by pinpointing critical security flaws in an IoT environment for a major construction company. This success led to subsequent opportunities, with the team being sought after as “bounty hunters” for major tech corporations.
In 2022, Cybear-Tech took the next step in its evolution by officially registering as a company in Switzerland, with our headquarters based in Fribourg. Since then, we have embarked on our own research and development initiatives, with a focus on cutting-edge projects in task automatization, IoT security, and Cloud security.
Over the span of five years, Cybear-Tech has transitioned from a simple exchange place to a pioneering company challenging the status quo in cybersecurity and MLAI integration. Our journey continues as we strive to push the boundaries of innovation and redefine the future of technology.
